About me

I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics of the University of Oklahoma. My main interest is functional analysis, especially Banach space geometry, with an emphasis on its nonlinear and noncommutative aspects. For example, I have worked on analogs of classical Banach-space operator ideals in other settings, such as metric spaces or operator spaces. I am also interested in what could be considered the noncommutative version of compressed sensing, namely the recovery of low-rank matrices, and the theory of frames on Banach spaces.
